Equity is at the heart of our school’s mission. EVERY student deserves an excellent, inclusive education, and our tuition schedule reflects this. Tuition does not cover our annual operating expenses. We rely on community fundraising and grants to fill that gap.
Every family at Prairie Song uses the following sliding scale to determine each student’s tuition for the 2023-2024 school year:
Families are asked to commit to one semester’s tuition at a time. You agree to pay the entire semester’s tuition regardless of whether your student completes the semester. As a microschool, and because of our commitment to equity and maintaining our sliding tuition scale, this is necessary to ensure the school’s continued operation. However, we only ask for a commitment to one semester at a time. New tuition contracts are completed each semester.
If you have extenuating circumstances that cause your tuition rate to be more than you can pay, please contact our Head of School. We are committed to accessibility and equity, ensuring that every local student who wishes to attend is able to do so.
